This actually works! All you need is;
Some White Vinegar
A Small Spray Bottle
Step 1: You are going to need to melt the coconut oil, so make sure any metal is off of the jar (also make sure the oil is not in plastic, or else the plastic might melt), and microwave the oil until it is melted.
Step 2: Use a funnel to fill about a fifth, to a quarter, of the spray bottle with the melted coconut oil, fill the rest of the bottle with vinegar, leaving about 1cm at the top so that it can be mixed.
Step 3: Put the cap on the bottle and shake it until it is well mixed, it should be a milky white color:
<- something like this
Step 4: Spray the mix semi- liberally into all the corners of the rooms and around the doors, in any crevices or openings you think a spider would get in through, as well as a spray on the bottom of the windows. Don’t worry about any smell, it will go away very quickly, in fact, the vinegar can help eliminate any bad odors around where it is sprayed.
Step 5: Make sure that AS SOON as you are done spraying, you pour out whatever is left in the bottle immediately, as the coconut oil will harden again and make the spray impossible to use.
Step 6: Repeat this process about every month or so, it is great because it is non toxic, so it won’t hurt you or your pets to be around.
Tip: If you want to keep spiders away from your bed or sofa, before you put the sheets on, mist the mattress (both top and bottom, all surface areas) and/or sofa with some antibacterial Windex, and let it dry before you put anything on them. This will kill any existing spiders and will help deter them in the future (for the next month or so)
